So I’m getting ready for this small claims court case, doing my civic duty, sending in evidence like a responsible adult. I email the guy, and 20 minutes later, he replies, “Oh, I thought I canceled the lawsuit because we’re liquidating the company.” Liquidating the company?! Buddy, you’re out here suing me when you’re 20 minutes away from a going-out-of-business sale? What’s next, you gonna bill me for the email?
